Towards the end of 1983, Oric International needed to find further funding for further development. This was secured from Edenspring Investments and so the Oric Atmos was born. Available in 48k only, the Oric Atmos boasted a “proper” full-size keyboard and an improved ROM over the Oric 1, but is essentially the same machine.
The Oric Atmos is essentially an Oric 1 in a nice dress, and all the better for it.
