The Sinclair ZX Microdrive was released in July 1983. Its main aim was to to provide a cheap, fast storage medium for the ZX Spectrum. A ZX Interface 1 is required to use a ZX Microdrive, eight of which can be connected at one time.Each cartridge was capable of storing approximately 85kb.
